A few weeks ago, I was cleaning up, and I noticed a ton of old (somewhat cheap) picture frames that I had lying around, and that's when I realized my solution: I would frame the Christmas cards, and they would become part of my favorite Christmas decorations!
Of course, these frames were in less than perfect shape. That is why they had been set aside, of course. None of them matched, either. And while I'm not the most matchy-matchy of people, I thought it would be nice for the Christmas frames to be cohesive in some way.
So, I went to the craft store - thinking I'd like to cover the frames with Gold-leaf. When I started checking it all out, I was having a hard time deciding to spend the money on doing it. I mean, I have so much craft crap, I should be able to figure out something that wouldn't cost me more money.
That's when I realized, I'd cover the frames with Glitter!!!

Recently, I found out that, with a few coats of polyurethane, I'd be able to seal the glitter in such a way that it wouldn't spread all over the place. So...I got out the glue, the glitter, and started sprinkling away.
A Gold Glitter Frame...do you see why I didn't want to toss these cards?!

So...scrounge up some old (or cheap frames), glue, glitter, and a little polyurethane spray coat, and then make yourself some nice Christmas frames.
Are you having a fun Christmas yet?
