First of all, I finished my little granny square pocketbook. It turned out so perfect...I had a friend make a lining for it. I totally forgot to take a picture of the finished product, but it was sooooo cute! I want to make another one for myself. I'd love to make more - if people wanted to buy them...It was so much fun.
I was so happy to give the purse to the recipient. It is so nice to give good gifts - especially to good receivers of gifts. Seriously, though. Some people are so easy to give gifts to because they seem happy and excited about the gift. I hope to be better at this. Even if I don't like the gift, It really is the thought that counts, and I can at least be better at showing my appreciation to someone who cares enough to give me a gift.
anyways...it is done, and now out of my house, and on to new projects!

In other news, I sent my query letter and submission...So, now I have to wait a little while (at least 8 weeks or so) to hear if I am awesome or sucky.
